What we can do

KIGURUMI.BIZ started its career in 1992 as a stage crew (a plastic art production company). We have created many artworks up to the present, such as stage designs and costumes for opera, puppet shows, architectural models and a number of displays. The teams of KIGURUMI.BIZ can create anything from a piece of illustration. The common point to all works is that each work has its own story. Whatever it is, small or big world, we enjoy their stories through our manufacturing.

Mascot Costumes

We create about 200 units of mascot costumes every year. The orders from both within and outside of Japan have been increasing. The number of mascot costumes across the sea is about 100 units and their export destinations reach 17 countries.

Designs and Planning

We consider characters have an infinite of possibilities. Not just making mascot costumes, we believe it is important to set up a story for each mascot in accordance with purpose of use and situations. Optimizing story settings enables you to make use of characters in each scene. This is also one of advantage points. We offer consistent planning and supports from design to promotion.

Producing Plastic Arts

We create a lot of formative arts other than mascot costumes. Artworks are born from various materials, such as paper, wood and textiles. Please visit the Photo Library page to see works up to the present or in the progress.

Product Development

Now is the time for fast-evolving technology, and therefore products integrating both manufacturing and technology are required. Without giving too much weight of either field, we develop the products which make use of both of advantages like love on both sides.
We will pursue “softness” for our works and evolve our own manufacturing way from here on out.
